Children will explore the joyful sounds of bells while learning about the history of Jingle Bells and the role bells played in Irish churches monasteries villages and castles
During the session children will create their own jingle bell instrument decorate and personalise it learn easy rhythm patterns through music play and take part in a fun castle parade using their new bells
Children will take home their handmade instrument and a new understanding of how bells have connected communities throughout Irish history and Christmas traditions
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the workshop
