'Magic Windows' Childrens Art Workshop

St. Patrick’s Day Children’s Art Workshop at King John's Castle

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2026 in the heart of Limerick City with a creative, family-friendly event at King John’s Castle.On Saturday, March 14th, 2026 (11:30am–12:30pm), children aged 7–12 are invited to take part in a special art workshop inspired by renowned Irish stained glass artist Harry Clarke.

 

Children will:

  • Learn about Harry Clarke and the Irish Arts & Crafts movement

  • Create their own colourful stained-glass-style artwork using acetate

  • Design a vibrant piece that glows beautifully in the sunlight

  • Take home their finished masterpiece

 

Important: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attend free but must remain for the full workshop.
