Step into the enchanting surroundings of King John’s Castle this August for a memorable Twilight Thursday experience filled with creativity and a touch of elegance!  

Unwind with a complimentary glass of wine as you take part in a relaxed and inspiring wine glass painting workshop. Guided by Mairead Conway, LSAD Fine Art graduate, you’ll learn decorative techniques, explore creative ideas, and design your very own hand-painted wine glass to take home as a special keepsake from the evening.

Whether you’re looking for a unique night out with friends, a creative escape, or simply an opportunity to try something new, this welcoming workshop is suitable for all skill levels, from complete beginners to seasoned creatives.

Spaces are limited — Gather your friends, sip, paint, and enjoy a creative evening in one of Limerick’s most iconic settings.  

What to Expect:

– Participants will be seated with all materials provided, including a wine glass, glass paints, and a selection of brushes.

– On arrival, participants can collect their complimentary glass of wine / soft drink or hot drink from the café before settling in.

– Mairead Conway will introduce the workshop, explain the painting process, and showcase design ideas and examples for inspiration.

– Participants will then begin decorating their wine glasses, with guidance and assistance available throughout from Mairead.

– At the end of the session, Mairead will explain the drying and care process so everyone can safely bring home their finished creation.
