Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James will bring his acclaimed live show to King John’s Castle on Friday, June 5th, 2026, for a very special summer concert in Limerick.

Known for heartfelt songs that capture the emotions of everyday life — love, heartbreak, loss and joy — Gavin James first gained attention busking and performing in pubs around Dublin. Support from Ed Sheeran and the release of his debut album Bitter Pill helped establish him as one of Ireland’s most successful modern singer-songwriters.
With over three billion global streams and more than 250,000 tickets sold worldwide, Gavin James has built a devoted international following thanks to his powerful vocals and deeply personal live performances.
Speaking ahead of the announcement, Mick Dolan said:
“Gavin James has a rare ability to connect with an audience in a way that feels completely personal, no matter the size of the stage. His songs resonate deeply with people, and his live performances are always something special. Bringing him to King John’s Castle for a summer show in Limerick feels like the perfect setting, and we’re delighted to have him back.”
